The North American B-25 Mitchell was the US Army Air Corps (USAAC) predominant medium bomber in World War II, with almost 10,000 built for the USAAC, US Marine Corps, and many allied nations such as Australia, Canada, Great Britain, the Soviet Union, and the Netherlands. The B-25 was well known for being easy to fly, maintainable, and versatile, with a decent range of 1,350 mi (2,170 km).
