Ryanair, a low-cost airline based in Ireland, has shown interest in the C919 through the years. The Chinese aircraft manufacturer COMACs C919 is a narrowbody designed to compete with the best-selling models from Airbus and Boeing. In May 2023, the aircraft made its commercial debut in China.
